Brown fused alumina grinding wheels are mainly used for grinding ordinary material workpieces.

The characteristics of white fused alumina:

The alumina content of white fused alumina is extremely high and appears white. White fused alumina is harder and more brittle than brown fused alumina, and the abrasive particles are quite sharp. The abrasive particles are not easily blunted, and the blunted abrasive particles are also prone to fracture and form new sharp edges. Therefore, it has good cutting performance and self sharpening, and the grinding heat generated during the grinding process is lower than that of brown fused alumina. It is suitable for precision grinding of various hardened steel, high-speed steel, and easily deformed workpieces.

The characteristics of pink fused alumina:

Pink fused alumina is a type of alumina mixed with chromium oxide, resulting in a rose red color. Its toughness is higher than that of white fused alumina, and its cutting performance is slightly higher than that of white fused alumina. Under the same conditions, the surface roughness value of chromium fused alumina grinding is smaller, making it suitable for precision grinding of various hardened steel parts.
